Those of you who know me, already know that I just adore shopping. Really any kind of shopping will do. I am just as happy at the Dollar Tree as I am at Macy’s or Dillard’s, so it comes as no surprise that we have been buying tons of new stuff for the new house. This chair is our latest most fabulous find!!
I LOVE IT! It is going to go perfect with our ivory leather couches and brown leather ottoman. I can already picture it! Let me know what you think!

So Andrew and I sometimes talk via im during the day. I always love when I am working on “ziggy” and I get the random sweet message from Andrew. Today I got the biggest smile on my face when he sent this picture to me. 
I just love it. This is our new house – mid construction. And, of course, that is me, Andrew and Sophie in front of the house. 
Hahaha! Love it!

Andrew and I debated on buying an existing home or building a new home. In the end, of course, we decided to build, and so far it has been so much fun! We went to the Ball Homes selection room to pick out all of the fun details for our new house. Sounded great, until we realized we love upgrades- as the “standard” was VERY basic.
We went with warm neutral colors and so far I am thinking the new color scheme will be very earthy with warm brown, tan, cream and green. Hopefully relaxing and beautiful.

We finally decided to get a family blog and try to keep track of how our new house is moving along. Here is a picture of the front of the house. We are building a Ball Homes, Savannah B model, and it’s due to close on August 20th. YEAH! More pics to come soon.
