Crooked walls and stuff.
So we are suppose to move into our beautiful new home in less than one week. Yeah for us… except for the crooked walls, unlevel countertops and pocket door that looks like it came out of a fun house.
Tomorrow morning we wake up bright and early for a walk-through with Ball Homes. So far we have been very pleasently surprised with the communication and organization from Ball Homes, and although we had a change in general contractors things are still on target for our closing on August 20. As of right now, we are expecting to stay on schedule with our move. Tomorrow we may have a much different story to tell. So until then… we will relax and look forward to our new home.

I’m sure it’s because I just read the poem to the kids last night, but your post sounded like a line from Lewis Carroll’s “The Walrus and the Carpenter”:
“The time has come,” the Walrus said, “to talk of other things. Of crooked walls and countertops, and pocket doors that swing.”
Yup, this is how your brain works with babies in the house. Sorry for the interruption.
